The U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command (AMCOM) has determined that the anticipated requirement for engineering testing/inspection of designated aircraft parts has significantly changed in scope from the original requirement. The demand for fatigue testing has been met to such an extent that it is not possible to predict a stable workload with any degree of certainty. Therefore, based on the above rationale, and to increase the competition base, the Conformance Inspections shall be contracted separately from the Fatigue Testing. A Sources Sought Notice for the Conformance Inspection services shall be posted to the CBD on/about 22 June 98.
