There are approximately 3,227 pine sawtimber trees containing an estimated 545,484 board feet International Scale or 362,230 board feet Doyle Scale and an estimated 2,685 pine pulpwood trees containing an estimated 114.1 cords. Log scales based on Form Class 80. Cutting to begin no later than 180 days after award with 365 days to complete removal after contract is awarded. Timber harvesting will not be allowed during the 15-day annual gun deer hunting for Barksdale AFB. Anticipated issue date is 20 July 1998; anticipated opening date is 19 August 1998.
