COMMERCE BUSINESS DAILY ISSUE OF JUNE 19,1998 PSA#2120U.S. Marshals Service, Business Services Division, 600 Army Navy Drive,
Arlington, VA 22202 R -- COMMERCIAL DATABASE FOR LOCATING INDIVIDUALS DUE 072798 POC Peter
Reese -- 202-307-9339 E-MAIL: for email to contracting click here,
Pete.Reese@usdoj.gov. The U.S. Marshals Service (USMS) is currently
considering awarding a sole source contract to Database Technologies
for their Autotrack services. This is the second notice and it further
defines the required performance for prospective offerors should a
competitive solicitation be issued. The USMS field and headquarters
offices have a requirement for access to a public information database
that can locate individuals (either directly or indirectly) using very
limited information and allow for "wild card" searches. In addition to
typical query capabilities (names, dates of birth, social security
numbers, address, phone numbers, property) the database must also be
able to: 1) perform Soundex queries, and allow the operator to view
exact matches and other possible matches; 2) identify associates and
family members of an individual; 3) link addresses, family members, and
associates of an individual; 4)search on a partial name; 5) produce a
comprehensive profile on an individual, generated by only one or
twoqueries; 6) identify the model of a vehicle in addition to the make;
7) identify other drivers and vehicles of an address. This must be a
commercial service (it must be presently in being and currently used by
other parties on an ongoing basis). Interested parties should send
capability statements that demonstrate that their system will perform
the above functions to the U.S. Marshals Service, Attn: Peter Reese,
CS#3, 1121, 600 Army Navy Drive, Arlington, VA 22202 or FAX
