Agency (EPA), National Health and Environmental Effects Research
Laboratory/Western Ecology Division, Corvallis, Oregon is seeking
qualified source to provide custodial services at government owned
facilities located at: (1) 200 SW 3th Street, Covallis, OR 97333 and
(2) 1350 SE Goodnight Ave, Corvallis, OR 97333. The main site facility
at 200 SW 35th Street, Corvallis, Oregon includes several buildings
and 1-3 trailers approximately 61,100 total sq ft (offices, restrooms,
halls, lunchroom, main entry, two conference rooms, library,
laboratories, and monthly cleaning of refrigerator and microwave). The
1350 SE Goodnight Ave., Corvallis, Oregon facility, approximately 4
miles from the main site, includes several buildings approximately
11,400 total sq ft (offices, restrooms, hallways, and laboratories).
The contractor shall furnish all labor, supplies, materials,
transportation, and equipment necessary to provide custodial services
in accordance with the requirements of the purchase order. Services
include, but are not limited to cleaning; sweeping; dusting; mopping;
damp mopping; wet mopping and scrubbing; vacuuming carpets/rugs; carpet
spot cleaning; stripping; waxing; spraying clean; and buffing floors;
waste removal; cleaning and servicing restrooms; bright metal
polishing; procelain ware cleaning; glass cleaning; and wall washing.
The contractor is expected to perform this support with an on-site work
force and to have experience in custodial services. EPA anticipates
awarding a firm-fixed price purchase order for 12 months. Period of
performance will be October 1, 1998 through September 30, 1999. This
acquisition is a small business set-aside. The SIC code is 7349 with a
size standard of $12M in average annual receipts over the preceding
three fiscal years. The RFQ is expected to be released on or about July
2, 1998 with quotations due approximately July 15, 1998. Telephone and
