project provides repairs and improvements to Building 33302, which
include demolition, minor site work and paving, cast-in-place concrete,
metal stud framing, drywall, ceramic tile, suspended ceilings,
resilient flooring, toilet accessories, handling of lead base paint and
asbestos bearing materials, plumbing, heating and ventilating, power,
lighting, fire sprinklers, fire alarms, and incidental related work.
S.I.C. Code is 1711, "Plumbing, Heating and Air-Conditioning".
Estimated cost is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Large businesses
will be required to submit a subcontracting plan. Completion time is
365 days. Bid opening is tentatively scheduled for 2:00 p.m. PST,
August 11, 1998 at Building 22101, Officer in Charge of Construction,
Marine Corps Base, Camp Pendleton, CA. All responsible sources may
submit a bid and it shall be considered. Copies of the solicitation
will be available on a first come, first served basis approximately
July 9, 1998, and will be providedonly in response to written, faxed,
or e-mail requests received directly from the requestor. Requests for
