Y -- INYO SCENIC BYWAY SOL IFB-R5-03-98-52 DUE 081898 POC Kathy Griffin, Contracting Officer, 530-622-5061, FAX 530-621-5258 Project consists of construction at 28 pre-determined interpretive/informational stops along US Highway 395 between Topaz Lake (north Mono County near the California-Nevada border) and Little Lake (south Inyo County) near Ridgecrest, CA. Construction ranges from installation of Hwy signs, installation of several interpretive signs, walkways and landscaping, small building construction, to new construction of a parking area. Seven of the stops are along Hwy 120 from Lee Vining, California, east toward Yosemite National Park. Most sites are within undeveloped turnouts, scenic overlook areas, although some sites are not adjacent to the highway. There WILL BE A PRE-BID MEETING, on July 30, 1998, at 9:30 AM at the Inyo National Forest, 873 N. Main Street, Bishop, CA. 93514. There WILL NOT BE A PRE-BID TOUR. Estimated start date is 090198.
