Both projects will be issued in one solicitation and one contract will be awarded as a result of this solicitation. The scope of work for both projects consists of the following: Alter Refueling Vehicle parking consists of all work required to increase the size of the existing parking pad and spill containment system including the following; (1) selective demolition and disposal of existing concrete structure; (2) site grading; (3) placing of new concrete pad; (4) bituminous paving, new and patching; (5) electrical service to pad area including explosion proof areas and (6) drainage system including pipe, manholes, catch basins, covers and grates. Project for Repair Hydrant Outlet Pits consists of all work required to install fiberglass pit liners in existing pits, including the following; (1) removal of existing pit covers; (2) dewatering of pits including disposal, if contaminated; (3) surface repairs to concrete pits; (4) liner installation and (5) reinstallation of pit covers. Bid issue will be 09 July 98. Bid opening will be 13 August 98. Performance period will be ninety (90) calendar days. Estimated cost of construction is $100,000.00 to $250,000.00. This procurement is being solicited in accordance with the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. Replies to this notice are requested from all business concerns. The small business size standard applicable to this project is a concern, including its affiliates, with average annual receipts from its preceeding three years not exceeding &7,000,000.00.
