Estimated cost of construction is between $1,00,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. Completion no later than 437 calendar days. Work consists of renovation of 40,000 sf of building for electronic maintenance shop and offices to include HVAC, electrical power distribution, lighting, fire protection, structural upgrade, acoustical ceiling, two clean rooms, rest rooms, and a 2700 sf building addition. Project also includes use of brand name items from Signal Communications Corporation and Identicard Systems, Inc. All responsible sources may submit a bid, which shall be considered by the agency. Large business firms are required to submit a subcontracting plan. The subcontracting goals are 65% for small business, 15% for small disadvantaged business and 8% of women owned small business. The subcontracting plan does not have to be submitted at bid opening. In order to comply with the Debt Collection Improvement Act of 1996, all contractors must be registered in theCentral Contractor Registration (CCR) to be considered for award of a Federal contract.
