Request for Information The United States European Command (USEUCOM) would like information from firms interested in providing telecommunications services to the US forces throughout Europe. Required services include the secure delivery of the Armed Forces Radio and Television Service's (AFRTS) encrypted digital compressed signal, which consists of 4 TV channels and 8 FM stereo radio stations. This service must be provided at no cost to the authorized subscribers. USEUCOM is also requesting information about other telecommunication services that vendors are interested in marketing to this audience. Approximately 130,000 American soldiers, sailors, airmen, marines and DOD civilians are permanently assigned in Europe.
