70 -- COTS/MSPS OR ADC AND DUAL DSP FOR USE IN PC POC Contact POC Carmel M. The US Army Communications-Electronics Command, Battlefield Electronics Communications Directorate in conjunction with Research Development and Engineering Center, Intelligence and Information Warfare Directorate (I2WD) are seeking sources to ascertain the availability of commercial off the shelf (COTS), PC format and compatible form, fit and function of the following: (1) a two channel, 20 Mega Samples Per Second (MSPS) per channel, or better, Analog to Digital Converter (ADC), (2) at a minimum, a DUAL Digital Signal Processor (DSP) Board and (3) software to develop algorithms to run with DSP's. The minimum performance of the compatible products is as follows: (1) DSP must be sufficiently fast to run a standard DSP communication algorithms at the 20 MSPS Band Width of the ADC. (2) ADC will have to digitize approximately a 2 MHz analog bandwidth from a standard communications receiver Intermediate Frequency. (3) It is preferred that both cards should use the PCI buss in the PC. However, all multi-card or single-card solutions for the PC form factor will be considered. The performance of the integrated products and software must result in a turnkey, communications, software development environment. Those companies who feel that they can deliver COTS products to the above performance specifications should express their interest by submitting sufficient documentation explaining their capability of the providing the integrated products/software for use in PC form factor. Besides product characteristics, please provide costs, warranty, quantity discounts and terms and conditions of doing business.
