Aeronautical Systems Center OL-WMGK is anticipating the purchase of
approximately two hundred containers for the AGM-142 and AGM-130
missiles, both for the All-Up-Rounds (AUR) and individual components of
the AURs. The AGM-142 program includes approximately 126 AUR U.S. and
Foreign Military Sales CNU-496/E (AUR AGM-142) containers as well as
the following (all numbers are approximate): 10 Pod Containers
(CNU-570/E); 5 Seeker containers (CNU-567/E); 2 Control Section
Containers (CNU-568/E); 2 Electronic Section Containers (CNU-566/E); 2
Fixed Data Link Containers (CNU-564/E); 2 Slide-in Data Link
containers (CNU-563/E); 2 DLP Comm. DRW Containers (CNU-569/E); 2 DLP

(CNU-562/E);and 3 Battery containers(CNU-559/E). The AGM-130 program
includes approximately 30 AUR CNU-578/E containers. A
time-and-materials CLIN will be included for container piece parts
required by both AGM programs. The requirements for the containers for
both programs are as follows: A technical library is available at 368
Adams Ave, Valparaiso, FL 32580, with a technical data package
consisting of production specifications and engineering drawings.
Please contact Ms Wicker of Semcor, Inc (850) 678-7887. Level III
drawings and prime item product fabrication specifications are
available. This requirement includes fabrication of production
containers after successfully fabricating one preproduction sample
container for each container design (the preproduction sample container
will count as a single contract deliverable in the total quantity of
each container design), completing qualification preproduction tests,
and completing the physical configuration audit. A preproduction sample
is required (about 160 days after contract award), with first container
delivery within 90 days after preproduction approval/physical
configuration audit. All preproduction tests and the physical
configuration audit are required prior to release for production, as
identified in the specifications.Source selection procedures (FAR
15.101-1, Tradeoff Process) are currently envisioned. This contract
will be a "build to print" firm fixed price contract. Offerors for this
contract should be experienced in economical fabrication techniques
(welding, machining, sheet metal cutting, etc.), and are required to
build aluminum containers to specs. These are complex items due to the
flatness and straightness requirements, and the necessity for the
container to seal (a leak check will be required). This is a 100% Small
Business Set-Aside under SIC Code 3769 for businesses up to 1,000
employees. Interested parties must submit a written request for
proposal to the contracting office no later than 20 days from the
publication of this announcement. Requests received after that date
will be honored on a first come first served basis if additional RFP
copies are available. No further CBD announcement is envisioned prior
to release of the RFP. Direct all request for solicitations and routine

been appointed to address concerns from offers or potential offerors
during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The

contracting officer, but communicates contractor concerns, issues,
disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government
personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman shall maintain strict
confidentiality as to the source of the proposals or in the source
selection process. The Ombudsman is Col. Richard Moriyama, AFDTC/CDS at
