614-4577 On behalf of the U.S. Army Research Institute, the Defense
Supply Service-Washington intends to award a purchase order on a sole
source basis to Dr. Joseph Zeidner of Bethesda MD. The contractor will
be required to perform a specialized study and analysis over nine
months time with Dr. Cecil Johnson, utilizing expert knowledge of
differential assignment theory, to improve classification efficiency
and gender fairness of the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery
(ASVAB). The effort involves expert skills of an experienced principal
investiagor, one senior scientist, one research associate and one
senior programmer analyst. Research results will be used to support
development of the Enlisted Personnel Allocation system (EPAS). There
is no solicitation document. This notice is not a request for quotes.
