The Bureau of Reclamation is soliciting proposals for managing and operating the Parking Garage at the Hoover Dam Visitor's Center. The work will include the following principal items: (1) Fee collection operations (parking prices will be established by the Government); (2) Financial management and operational reporting; (3) Employee and visitor safety; and (4) Communications with the Government and general public. The Contractor will operate the Parking Garage for 10 hours a day, 7 days a week, from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm, excluding Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. The solicitation documents were issued on June 17, 1998. The due date and time for submitting proposals is 3:00 pm on July 31, 1998. There is no charge for one hard copy of the solicitation; additional copies are $4.00 each. The documents are also available at no charge from our web site (see address below).
