Z -- ADD CHILLER, BUILDING 40 SOL IFB678-52-98 DUE 080509 POC Pam Hayes, Contracting Officer, 520-629-4611 Provide all labor, materials, equipment and supervisions necessary to perform work to install a new additional 475 ton electric centrifugal chiller and associated equipment in the Medical Center's chilled water central plant, Building 40, according to contract drawings and specifications. THE CHILLER TO BE INSTALLED HAS ALREADY BEEN PURCHASED BY THE VA (owner furnished equipment) and is scheduled for delivery in late October 1998. All other equipment, materials, devices, etc., will be provided and installed by the contractor, including cooling tower, condenser pump, exhaust fan, piping, valves, controls, electrical, and structural support elements. This work to take place during the months of September -- December 1998. The Standard Industrial Classification code is 1711. The construction cost estimate is between $250,000 and $500,000. Specifications will be available on/about July 6, 1998. Bid opening is scheduled for August 5, 1998.
