WORK IN TEXAS AND NEW MEXICO ALONG THE MEXICO BORDER AND THE GULF OF

Specialist, 214-905-5392 Maintenance, repair and minor new construction
on INS owned or INS leased real property involving, but not limited to:
HVAC, electrical, refrigeration, carpentry, masonry, glazing, painting,
plumbing, plastering, asbestos removal, oil and spill abatement, fire
suppression insulation work, ceiling systems, roof work, doors,
concrete, paving and site work, site prep, installation and utility
hookup of modular buildings, residential property maintenance and
repair, and other miscellaneous construction work. INS intends to award
an ID/IQ, fixed priced construction (JOC) contract for an initial
period of one (1) year with four (4) one year option periods. The
annual maximum is $3M with the total contract maximum of $15M. The
guaranteed minimum for the base period is $150,000 and $100,000 for
each option period. Pricing will be based on the contractor's proposed
coefficient, which shall include all overhead and profit; applied to
labor and material costs based on pricing in the R.S. Means Cost Data
Books. All offers will be evaluated for the initial one (1) year period
plus the four (4) option periods. The government intends to evaluate
proposals and award a contract, without discussions, to the responsible
offeror whose offer, conforming to the solicitation, will be most
advantageous to the government, other factors and price considered. The
majority of the work under this contract is anticipated in Texas and
New Mexico, along the Mexico border and the Gulf of Mexico, inclusive
of an area approximately 100 miles inside the entire length of the
border and coastline. Davis Bacon Wage determinations have been
requested for those areas and others within the Central Region
Boundaries. The Standard Industrial Code for the majority of the work
is 1542 -- General Contractors -- Non-Residential Buildings Other than
Industrial Buildings and Warehouses, and 1521 -- General Contractors
-- Single Family Houses for approximately 5% of the anticipated work.
The small business size standard is $17M. All requests for
