Family Housing Maintenance Services. Contractor to provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, transportation, supervision, and other items and services to perform Family Housing Maintenance and Repair Services within all Family Housing areas of Fort Carson, Colorado. The solicitation includes the operation of the self help store for family housing residents, interior painting, floor refinishing, grounds maintenance within the family housing areas, and other necessary to perform the Family Housing Maintenance services as defined in the solictation package. The Government anticipates awarding a Requirements Type contract with a one year base period and four 6 month options. The solicitation will be issued as a Request for Proposals (RFP) o/a 7 July 1998. The solictation will also become available at the time of issue on the Fort Carson Web site, http://158.4.161.201/. A manadatory Site visit and proposal conference will be held one week after issuance of the solicitation. Only proposals from contractors that attend the mandatory site visit will be considered. Proposals received from contractors will be evaluated for past performance, previous experience and technical/management capabilities. The proposed contract will be 100% set-aside for 8(a) small business within the State of Colorado. For this acquistion, the Small Business size standard is $7.0 Million in total revenues. Interested 8(a) small business concerns that do not have access to the web site above should submit written/facsmile requests including, but not limited to the following: business name, business address, point of contact, tax identification number, corporate status, phone/facsimile number, and a signed statement of status as a 8(a) small business.
