Batch Splitting System, consisting of two platform mounted transportainer dumping stations with remote pneumatic controls for each station. Dumping platform shall be elevated to provide clearance for a bowl on a stand. An industrial grade, rolling ladder shall be provided. System may be designed to split batches using either a weight gain or a weight loss methodology. Each platform scale shall have a remote display at remote dump control station. Mix dumping rate shall be controlled using the transportainers' (existing) pneumatic actuated knife gate valve. Opening the knife gate valve shall cause mix to gravity flow from the transportainer through a stainless steel chute into a bowl located below the dump station. Control valves for this knife gate valve are included as work of this specification. Contractor will furnish all materials, labor, equipment, and supplies necessary to design, construct, ship and install a system.
