The Veterans Affairs Medical and Regional Office Center (VAMROC) Honolulu is soliciting offers from pharmacies to fill emergent or "STAT" pharmaceutical prescriptions to authorized Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) beneficiaries. Contractor shall furnish all necessary labor, materials, equipment, supplies and consumables in accordance with all Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), and State of Hawaii regulations, statutes and guidelines. The geographic coverage area will be the Islands of Kauai, Oahu, Maui, Molokai and Hawaii ("Big Island"). This procurement is for a period of one year with four (4) one-year options. A multiple award is contemplated. All responsible sources may submit an offer. Offerors must have facilities located within the metropolitan centers specified to be eligible and firms having facilities in more than one geographic area may bid for each area. Solicitations will be available on or about July 8, 1998. A request for a copy of the solicitation must be addressed to either contracting officer in writing, e.g., hard copy, e-mail or fax.
