This solicitation documents and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 90-46. IAW with FAR 6.302-1, Only one Responsible Source and No other Supplies or Services will satisfy agency Requirements. Walter Reed Army Medical Center intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Perkin and Elmer/ABI for the AmpFLSTR Profiler Plus PCR Amplification Kits and Amplitaq Gold. Standard Industrial Classification is 3826, and the Small Business Size is 500 employees. This requirement is for the purchase of(1) Amplitaq Gold with GeneAmp (5x1000 Units) and PCR buffer and (2) the AMPFLSTR Profiler and Profiler Plus PCR Amplification Kits and Amplitaq Gold. The Kit shall consist of (1) Amplification FLSTR Profiler PCR Amplification Kit (2) Pop 4 Polymer (3) 310 Genetic Analyzer Buffer with EDTA (4) 310 Capillaries 47cm x 50um, Internally uncoated (5) Amplification FLSTR Profiler Plus PCR Amplification Kit (6) Plus Users Manual (7) GeneScan-500 (Rox) Internal lane size standard kit.
