202-435-6940 The U. S. Secret Service has a requirement to acquire
contractor facility management services for its primary and alternate
enterprise computer facilities, both located in the Washington, D.C.
metropolitan area. Data center hours are, 24 hours a day, 365 days a
year. The contractor shall be the Secret Service single point of
contact for all ADP computer system issues. In order to accomplish
daily processing and accommodate growth to meet the changing needs of
the customers or user community, at a minimum, the services include
operation and management of all ADP mainframe and open system
enterprise hardware and software, preventive maintenance of all ADP
hardware and software, planning, acquisition, and implementation of
hardware and software upgrades, system, application, database,
mainframe network programming and customer support services. The
contractor shall also maintain and support certain physical plant items
in the enterprise computer facilities. The contractor shall furnish all
personnel required to accomplish these services and requirements. The
contract period shall be for one year with (four) one year options to
extend the period of performance. This acquisition is reserved for
eligible 8(a) firms. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code
is 7376. Offers from firms other than eligible 8(a) firms will not be
considered. Eligible 8(a) firms interested in receiving a copy of the
solicitation must respond in writing. Phone calls will not be
accepted. The estimated solicitation issue date is July 13, 1998.
