DuBose, Contracting Officer, 717-770-7107 The Defense Distribution Depot Norfolk (DDNV)has a requirement for a contractor to provide preventive maintenance, emergency services and corrective maintenance of automated storage/retrieval systems (AS/RS) installed in Building W143 on the Norfolk Naval Base, 1968 Gilbert Street, Norfolk, VA 23512. The scope of work includes, but may not be limited to, all the necessary labor, tools, test equipment and supervision required to perform operational maintenance on the systems. These AS/RS or Ministackers are part of the Naval Integrated Storage Tracking and Retrieval System (NISTARS). They are Conserv-A-Trieve System manufactured by Supreme Equipment and System Corporation of Brooklyn, NY. The contract period is anticipated to be from on or about October 1, 1998 through one year with four (4) option year periods. This acquisition is 100% set-aside for small business concerns. The Standard Industrial Code (SIC) for this acquisition is 7699. The small business size standard is $5.0 million.
