OCRM has a requirement for a Conference Meeting Package (i.e. Plenary & Break-out Conference Rooms set to specifications; AM/PM Breaks for 2 days, Continental Breakfast for 3 days, and Working Lunch for 2 days; A/V Equipment (i.e. microphones, projectors, flip charts, etc.); and a Convention Services Manager to assist in all aspects of planning the event) that will accommodate 250 attendees. Please note that Guest Room Accommodations (approximately 320 rooms) will also be needed but will be handled directly by the attendees and not through this requirement. The selected hotel must meet the following criteria: 1) Availability of meeting facilities during March 22-25, 1999; 2) Located within city limits of Washington D.C. with convenient access to Metro (i.e. within three blocks of a stop for each of the Metro Red Line and Metro Blue/Orange Line) and other public transportation; 3) Located in a low crime area to help ensure the safety of attendees; 4) Availability of meeting facilities that are configured per specifications and have the capacity for: 1. Plenary sessions March 23,24, and 25, 1999 for 250 persons; 2. Speaker lunches March 23 and 24, 1999 for 250 persons; 3. Break-out sessions March 22, 1999 for groups of 30, 20 and 45 persons; 4. Break-out sessions March 23, 24, and 25, 1999 for groups of 75, 75, 50, 50, 35,and 15 persons; 5. Separate exhibit space; 6. AM/PM breaks for 250 persons; 7. Separate conference office space; 8. 8. Separate storage space. Interested parties are invited to submit information as to their capabilities and any other pertinent data along with a total package price for the entire meeting package based upon a per person rate to the address above, to be received no later than five days from the date of this notice.
