Farmington Dam Improvements and Repair, San Joaquin County, California. Competition for this procurement is limited to 8(a) firms which have the SIC code 1629 among their approved SIC codes. The size standard for this SIC code is $17 million. This procurement is restricted to 8(a) firms listed with the San Francisco District Office of the Small Business Administration. JOB DESCRIPTION. Repair work includes destruction of 17 existing relief wells, installation of 39 new relief wells, construction of a concrete lined drainage ditch, toe access road and berm, upstream embankment fill, riprap stone protection, and incidental metal and concrete work. A TOUR OF THE SITE has been scheduled for 26 June 1998, at 9:00 a.m. Bidders should meet at the intersection of Sonora Road and California State Road 4, 1 mile east of Farmington, California. For those firms not in attendance your copy will be sent overnight mail. Estimated cost is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000.
