The project provides for a complete and functional facility to test out-of-frame aircraft engines while abating noise to the surrounding facilities and the environment. The project will also renovate the adjacent control room, support areas, and incidental work at the Naval Air Station Oceana, Virginia Beach, Virginia. Plans and Specifications will be available on 7/7/98. Bid Opening Date is 8/6/98. Estimated cost range between $1,000,000 -- $5,000,000. A CHARGE WILL BE MADE FOR EACH SET OF HALF-SIZE AND FULL-SIZE SET OF PLANS. The cost for each half-size set of plans and specifications with the solicitation package is $65.00, and the cost for each full-size set of plans and specifications is $186.00. This price includes priority mail postage. These sets will be made availabe upon receipot of a written request, and a non-refundable check or money ordermade payable to the U.S. Treasury.
