Scope of work for exterior Penthouse Replacement portion will consist of, but not limited to the removal of existing exterior wall paneling and replacement with vertical metal manufactured wall panel system anchoring to the existing structural system. Removal of existing exterior mechanical louvers and replacement with new prefinished louvers in a finish to match the exterior wall panel system. Existing roofing will be removed down to roof deck and replaced with a fully adhered membrane roof over tapered insulation. Replace light fixtures with energy efficient fixtures and rewired new conduit concealed within the wall cavity. Paint existing exterior steel doors and frames in a color to match exterior wall panels. Interior portion will consist of, but not limited to line the interior noise control system with a custom high pressure plenum lining. Apply sound absorptive panels to the inside face of the new line panels at the walls and ceiling as well as existing sheet metal septum wall at all compartments falling between return and supply fans and the building ducts. Provide steel checkerplate walkways where required. The estimated cost range is between $250,000 and $500,000. Specifications will be available on or about July 20, 1998. Proposals will be opened privately on or about August 19, 1998. The Standard Industrial Classification Code is 1542 and the small business size standard for this project is $17 million.
