M240B Machine Guns (P/N 12976814); FN Manufacturing, Inc. Flexible Mounts (FNX97139); FN Manufacturing, Inc. Operator Tool Kits (P/N FN94B9200); and FN Manufacturing, Inc. Operational Tool Kits (P/N FN94B9400). These specific makes and models are required because the United States Coast Guard is a signatory with the Joint Services Small Arms Master Plan (JSSAMP); JSSAMP requires that all signatories acquire the aforementioned machine guns and related components. The anticipated period of the proposed contract will be from date of award through April 1, 2000. If there are other responsible sources that can provide the aforementioned SPECIFIC MAKES AND MODELS of machine guns and related components, then those resposible sources are requested to confirm same by written response to this synopsis by Tuesday, 14 July 1998, in writing by mail, to Mr. Joseph Widdup at the address above.
