43 -- PUMPS FOR S-319 AND S-362 PALM BEACH COUNTY, FLORDA SOL DACW17-98-R-0016 DUE 100998 POC Contract Specialist Reena Henderson 904/232-3702 (Site Code DACW17) This procurement is for ten pumping units, five each for two separate pumping stations (S-319 and S-362), and the services of an erecting engineer to supervise installation of the pumps. (Installation will be performed under a separate contract.) There will be three 960 cfs and two 550 cfs pumping units at each of these stations. Each pumping unit comprises a pump, a diesel engine, a reduction gear, and electronics and controls for these items. A SCADA system shall also be provided. Pump model tests shall be performed to ensure performance and determine intake and discharge dimensions. Pump impellers shall be cast. The pumping equipment should be delivered within approximately 16 months of contract award. The services of the erecting engineer will be required for a period of approximately 30 months after the pumps are delivered. This procurement is UNRESTRICTED. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered by this agency. Solicitation packages must be requested in writing or by fax at 904/232-2749.
