This solicitation is for the production and management of spare parts sets required to support the AN/TPX-56 Interrogator Set (NSN: 5895-01-392-2206). This effort will include the production, certification of conformance, and management of the supply support effort required for the life of the contract. In addition, this effort will address the depot maintenance and supply support required to maintain a turn-around time of forty eight (48) hours from receipt to a return to the field of any depot repairable item. This turn-around time will include all elements of the AN/TPX-56 down to the Line Replaceable Unit (LRU) level. In addition, this effort will include the tasks associated with the conversion of the technical manual for the AN/TPX-56 from a paper based system to an interactive electronic technical manual. It will also include the elimination of the requirement for paper based monthly reports and the conversion to an electronic based system. A non-competitive negotiation is proposed with Allied Signal., Government Electronic System, 1300 East Joppa Rd, Baltimore MD, under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) IAW FAR 6.302-1(b)(1).
