The Naval Air Systems Command intends to issue a study order under Basic Ordering Agreement N00019-96-G-0023 to Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation (SAC), 6900 North Main Street, Stratford, CT 06601 for H-60 Supportability Studies concurrent with and as an integral part of the overall system engineering process. SAC will perform alternative evaluations and trade-off analyses between design, operations and support concepts; affordable readiness and life cycle cost analyses; training and trainer delta requirements analysis; assessment of technical data and interactive electronic technical manual compatible data; analysis of supply support and system engineering requirements; analysis of the impacts to maintenance accessibility affecting the airframe; and provide data to document all analyses accomplished under the Supportability Studies Order. SAC is the sole designer and producer of the H-60 aircraft and alone possesses the knowledge, data and experienced personnel required to accomplish this effort within the time-frame required by the Fleet.
