Welch, 703/875-6746 The Department of State contemplates a sole-source procurement with Verity, Inc., Sunnyvale, CA, for professional software support services for the Verity proprietary software package SEARCH'97. The Contractor is to provide services in the development of specific functionality for SEARCH'97 and the migration of the State Archiving System (SAS) from TOPIC to SEARCH'97 in a non-proprietary interface (Web browser) that will allow the users to search, save and print individual documents and/or entire document sets. This interface will, at a minimum, contain a Web browser (Netscape, Internet Explorer) interface which is robust enough to support expansion to 250 users. It is anticipated that the required services will be needed for an estimated 120 days. SEE Note 22. (0173)
