The tapes are recorded on standard 1/2 hour audiocassettes at 7 1/2 IPS. The transcripts will consist of one typescript, verbatim, hard copy, and one 3 1/2 floppy disk for each tape cassette. Each transcript will be double-spaced with one inch margins all around. The word processing program to be used is Micro Soft Word 6.0. Capitalization, punctuation etc. will be governed by the Office Style Manual. The duration of the contract is not to exceed one year. A vaild bid must contain a unit cost per tape and a 3-5 page sample of a completed transcription. Estimated range $25,000 to $100,000. This is restricted, full and open competition.
