A-10 CANOPY TRANSPARENCY ASSEMBLY This is a re-notification (original notice was given in July 94) that _______________ McClellan AFB has established a pre-qualification requirement for NSN 1560- 00-583-7356FJ, P/N 160D117230-1, A-10 Aircraft Canopy Transparency Assembly, and is NOT a notice that a buy is in progress. Engineering data ___ are available. The approved sources of supply are currently limited to (1) Grumman Aerospace Corp., (2) Llamas Plastics, Inc., and (3) Swedlow, Inc. It is NOT anticipated that a contractual requirement for this item will ___ occur in less than one year. If a prototype is submitted for qualification testing, the applicant must furnish any specific information that may be requested of the manufacturer before testing will begin. Applicants will be notified of results approximately twenty-five (25) days following submission of a prototype for qualification testing.
