acquisition will be a Sole Source to Harris Corp, 1712 National Road
West, Richmond IN 47374. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for
Commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR, Subpart
12-6, as supplemented with additional information included in this
notice. This notice constitutes the only Request for Proposal. A
written request for proposal will not be issued. The request for
proposal document and contract incorporates provisions and clauses that
are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 90-44. The SIC code
is 3663. The Television-Audio Support Agency intends to buy 1 each
Audicy Digital Audio workstation consisting of an Editing System in
digital audio format; linear PCM ram-based, 10-channel, 24 track
editing and mixing; operates internally at 32 or 44, 1Khz sampling
rates; 512 RAM and 1 each digital I/O interface; 2GB SCSI hard drive;
includes: solid steel stand with accessory shelf, keyboard and
controller, optional 17-inch monitor, and Audicy software version 1.50;
PWR requirements: 85-135 or 170-270VAC, switchable, 47-63hz, 220W. The
manufacturer is Orban Associates, Inc. The items are to be delivered
to AFRTS-BC, 1363 Z Street, Bldg 2730, March ARB CA 92518-2017. Clauses
52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items, and Clause
52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes
or Executive Orders -- Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition.
In compliance with the said clauses, the following additional clauses
apply, 52.222-26 Equal Opportunity; 52.222-35, Affirmative Action for
Special Disabled and Vietnam Era Veterans; 52.222-36, Affirmative
Action for Handicapped Workers. Under DFARS 252.212-7001, the following
sub-clauses are applicable: 252.225-7001, Buy American Act and Balance
of Payment Program; and 252.227-7015, Technical Data Commercial Items.
Clauses 52.212-1, Instruction to Offerors -- Commercial Item, applies
and offerors shall be evaluated for fair and reasonable price and
technical acceptability. Offers are due by 1400 hours, 6 JUL 98. See
