Description of work: Contractor shall provide all labor, materials and equipment for 4 bedroom units: wax stripping of 650 sq. feet of existing floor tile, provide & install 650 sq. feet of new vinyl composition tile, remove & dispose of 215 linear feet of wood base shoe, and provide paint and install 215 linear feet of new wood base shoe. The 5 bedroom units require: wax stripping of 695 sq. feet of existing floor tile, provide & install 695 sq. feet of new vinyl composition tile, remove & dispose of 185 linear feet of wood base shoe and provide, paint, and install 185 linear feet of new wood base shoe. This work will be limited to no less than 16 units and no more than 40 units to be accomplished within a 12 month period of time. The work will be performed at the Naval Construction Battalion Center, Gulfport, MS. The contract will be for a period of twelve months with two twelve-month option periods. The proposed solicitation listed herein will be issued on an unrestricted basis under the SIC of 1752 (Construction -- Special Trade Contractors) with the small size standard of $7,000,000.
