shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, transportation,
supervision and disposal necessary for Family Housing Kitchen
Renovations, Phase III, USCG Air Station Cape Cod, Bourne, MA
(Barnstable County). The solicitation number was incorrectly stated in
the presolicitation notice. The correct solicitation number is
DTCGG1-98-D-3WK163. This project will be an IDIQ contract with one (1)
base and four (4) option years. The kitchens to be renovated include
3-bedroom rowhouses and 3- and 4-bedroom single family ranch houses.
Work includes, but is not limited to, the demolition of existing
cabinets, countertops, flooring, electrical and gypsum board, and
abatement of asbestos pipe insulation (rowhouse). Also, the
installation of new gypsum board, cabinets, electrical, countertops,
flooring, plumbing, and finish painting of the new kitchen and adjacent
spaces affected by the rehabilitation. In addition, the electrical
service for all 3-bedroom rowhouses shall be upgraded. Estimated cost
of this project is between $1 million and $5 million dollars, inclusive

(DOT) Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU)
has programs to assist minority, women-owned and disadvantaged business
enterprises to acquire short-term working capital and bonding
assistance for transportation-related contracts. This is applicable to
any eligible prime or subcontract at any tier. The DOT Bonding
Assistance Program enables firms to apply for bid, payment and
performance bonds up to $1.0 million per contract. The DOT provides an
80% guaranty on the bond amount to a surety against losses. Loans are
available under the DOT Short-term Lending Program (STLP) at prime
interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The max. line
