Government intends to negotiate a purchase order with an authorized
distributor of the Image Video under monitor tally display system with
mounting brackets and interfaces for use by the Armed Forces Radio and
Televison Service Broadcast Center. Salient characteristics include:
tri-colored LED displays (red, green, yellow) which can be manipulated
and changed randomly by an operator; RS-422 and RS-232 remote control
of all displays; display units are rack-mountable to 19" equipment
racks with tilt down/up panels, mounts infront of and below monitors;
display units are no deeper than 1.8 inches within the rack; operates
with intelligent tally system which can stand alone if desired or by
randomly changed by an operator; 30 levels of brightness per display
unit, all of which are randomly changeable by an operator; four
programmable clocks/timers/counters per display unit, real time clock,
elapsed time clock, count down clock, increased event timer, decreased
event timer, external tally programmed to advance, seset, or old
timer/counter, individual digits can appear anywhere on display
combined with any text information; text on all display units can be
manipulated and randomly changed by an operator and can be set for
fingle/double triple monitor settings randomly; each display unit mus
have two external tally inputs to control message, color, timers, and
flashing; each display unit must have left, right, center, or
full-width text justification; Intelligent tally system interface to
Grass Valley 7000 routing switcher, Grass Valley master control
switcher, alarms, signal processing equipment, automation system, and
GPI's, character sizes, 31 graphic symbols, clocks, timers, colors can
be manipulated and changed randomly by an operator; all set-up and
message information is retained in non-volatile memory while display
