The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Telemetry Division, has a requirement for Pulse Code Modulation (PCM) Bit Synchronizers. This acquisition is being procured in accordance with FAR Part 12, as an unrestricted, firm-fixed priced, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity type solicitation. The contract period will consist of one base year and three option years. Each year will consist of the following CLIN descriptions. Base Year: CLIN 0001 -- Pulse Code Modulation (PCM) Bit Synchronizer Chassis with one bit synchronizer installed, quantity 6 each, in accordance with (IAW) specifications provided within RFP. CLIN 0002 -- BitSynchronizer Plug-In Card, quantity 6 each, IAW specifications provided within RFP. CLIN 0003 -- Data Requirements: 0003AA -- Operation & Maintenance Manual, in support of CLIN 0001, IAW Data Item No. A001, quantity 6 each; CLIN 0003AB -- Test Data, in support of CLIN 0001, IAW Data Item No. A002, quantity 6 each. CLIN 0004 -- Test Data, in support of CLIN 0002, IAW Data Item No. A002, quantity 6 each. The PCM bit synchronizers shall perform the functions of detecting and reconstructing PCM data, which has been pre-modulation filtered prior to transmitting and contaminated by telemetry transmission noise. They shall output reconstructed NRZ-L data, clock, and tape recorder signals. The bit syncs shall be controllable both by operator selection of housing front panel functions and via a housing rear panel computer interface connector. Delivery of items shall occur within 90 days of order to the Telemetry Division of the Naval Air Warfare Center-Aircraft Division, Patuxent River, MD. Items shall be shipped FOB destination and inspection and acceptance at destination.
