The work shall be accomplished IAW appendices A, B and C. Item 0001 WGU-12 B/B, NSN: 1325-01-257-9428, P/N: 2898431-1, 21 each. Item 0002 WGU-25/B, NSN: 1325-01-237-8904, P/N: 2898297-1, 3 each. To include all required reports and data. Contractor has proprietary rights and owns all data. No other contractor has the knowledge or specific data to produce or repair this weapon guidance unit for the GBU24 weapon system. Only known source that can satisfy the governments requirement for the repair. Delivery: 8 months after receipt of reparable end items. Destn: McAlester OK 74501 The approximate issue/response date will be 13 Jul 98. The anticipated award date will be 03 Aug 98. Written procedure will be used for this solicitation. All responsible sources solicited may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered. An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor, concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern.
