The Office of Minority Health (OMH)through the General Acquisitions Branch, Program Support Center (PSC), intends to award a twelve month sole source simplified acquisition to the State of Alabama Department of Public Health, Minority Health Section. Work under this contract shall develop and offer English-to-Spanish medical interpreter training for interpreters in the public and private sectors and an overview of the Hispanic/Latino culture needed to successfully assist medical professionals in the treatment of monolingual Spanish-speaking clients in health care settings.
