Venable, Contracting Specialist, 202-906-6034 The Office of Thrift Supervision (OTS) will request proposals from contractors to develop, revise and instruct two classes per year to OTS and other authorized personnel in the examination and supervision of mortgage banking activities. Therefore, the contractor must possess expert knowledge of the mortgage banking business as it is conducted in thrift institutions, service corporations of thrift institutions and holding company affiliate subsidiaries. The contract will feature a base year (January-December 99) and four option years. This procurement shall be processed in accordance with simplified acquisition procedures of Part 13 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation. The solicitation, however is not reserved exclusively for small business concerns. The appropriate determination is documented in the file. The OTS will issue a single contract for this requirement. The RFQ will be issued on or about July 22, 1998 with submission of proposal on or about August 24, 1998. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered by the Government.
