S -- REFUSE COLLECTION SOL RFQ Part II of III DUE 063098 POC Contact Point. Contracting Officer, Joel Butzin,(970) 874-6613 Refuse collected under the contract shall be disposed of at an approved sanitary landfill. The Contractor shall furnish a certified copy of the permit, license or authorization issued them by the Health Officer or Department having jurisdiction to dispose of the refuse collected under this contract. All refuse handling equipment shall meet the the minimum functional standards for solid wast handling as required by Washington State EPA monitors (chapter 173-304 WAC). The Job Corps has "bearproof" containers in accordance with Washington State Game Department requirements. The Contractor may elect to use their own containers but must supply a Washington State Game Department certification indicating that they are also "bearproof" prior to installation. If the Contractor elects to use their own containers, the Contractor will be required to move the Center's containers to a storage site on-Center and then move them back at the end of the contract. There are minimum wages for employees working under this contract as established by the US Department of Labor This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice.
