Wandick (816) 426-7267 x237 Furnish all labor, material, equipment and each and every item of expense for the construction of the Northern Indiana Weather Forecast Office to be located on approximately 2.5 acres north of North Webster, Indiana and adjacent to State Road 13 and County Road 850 North. The building size is to be approximately 5,732 square feet. The building will be a steel frame, single story, on concrete spread footings, with asphalt shingle roof and brick siding. The contract will also include a secondary building for storage and to house an engine generator with approximate size of 680 square feet. Work includes but is not limited to: clearing, excavation, earth fill, compaction, grading, paving and drainage; construction of new buildings, a trash enclosure, a communication tower base and tower, a fuel storage tank, a septic system, a water well system, a lawn sprinkler system, landscaping and associated site work; start-up and testing of the contractor furnished equipment and materials; coordination of and connection to public utilities and to the existing temporary radar facility. Completion time for this project is 300 calendar days. This is a total small business set-aside. SIC code 1542 applies. Estimated construction cost is from $1,000,000.00 to $2,000,000.00.
