The work to be performed will include all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentials necessary to replace 282 existing Smoke Detectors and related wiring and to install 1460 new Smoke Detectors and 282 Carbon Monoxide Detectors and related wiring in 282 housing units at Malmstrom AFB Montana. The performance period is 220 calendar days after issuance of the Notice to Proceed. Request for Proposal will be issued on or about 22 July 1998. Proposal closing will be on or about 24 August 1998. The acquisition is open competition for large and small business in accordance with the Small Business Competititve Demonstration Program. Only written, faxed, or E-Mail request for the solicitation will be considered. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by the agency.
