All work shall be done in strict accordance with the plans and specifications for Project AJJY 85-0060P1. Principal work features will consist of but not be limited to the removal and replacement of existing rigid concrete pavement to include yellow paint stripes and other pavement markings known to contain lead with new. Removal of all lead paint shall be done in strict accordance with Guam and Federal EPA standards. Principal work features will also consist of but not be limited to the excavation and removal of approximately 8 inches of thick base course; removal of all soft or yielded subgraded compaction and replacement with limestone. The contractor will also be required to perform all work associated with the construction of a new 14" thick Portland Cement Concrete (PCC) pavement on new 6" thickcompacted base course and performing all re-striping services. The contractor shall also be responsible for providing accurate red line drawings to ensure correct as-built drawings. The estimated magnitude of this project is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. Performance time is 180 calendar days after notice to proceed. A nonrefundable fee of $18.00 payable to the United States Department of Treasury is required for each solicitation requested. Mainland contractors are encouraged to provide Airborne, Federal Express or DHL account numbers along with their request for solicitation documents in order to expedite delivery of solicitation documents.
