This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation Number N00178-98-R-1065 is issued as a request for proposal. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-04. This is a small business set-aside. The applicable Standard Industrial Classification Code is 3429 and small business size standard is 500. 0001 -- Power Control and Telemetry Section Simulators -- 4 each 0002 -- Guidance Section Simulators -- 4 each CLINs 0001 and 0002 shall be fabricated in accordance with two Government provided Technical Data Packages. Only one Technical Data Package will be provided per offeror. Note: Technical Data Packages will be provided at a pre-proposal conference which shall be held at 09:00 on 15 July 1998 at the Naval Surface Warfare Center. Contact Dianne M. It is recommended that Potential Offerors attend the bidders conference for the Technical Data Packages and for question and answer session. The material (Titanium) for fabrication of the Guidance Sections' shroud shall be provided as Government Furnished Material. Deliver of CLINs 0001 and 0002 is required 120 days after contract award. Delivery shall be FOB destination to the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren, VA. Inspection and acceptance shall be at contractor's facility by NSWC technical personnel. The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial items applies. The provision at 52.212-2 applies and the offeror shall be evaluated based on the price, contractor's facility, contractor's experience, the contractor's ability to meet schedule requirements and past performance. Offerors are advised to include a completed copy of the provision at 52-212-3 with their offer. The clause at 52.212-4 is applicable. The clause at 52-212-5 is applicable. The clause at 52-232-15 is applicable. The Defense Priorities and Allocations Systems is applicable and this requirement is assigned a DX rating.
