The synopsis is modified to increase the number of SALAD systems and options required The basic award will include four first article units and four production units, spares, manuals and engineering services. Options for production quantities will be included for an additional 261 units to be delivered during FY00-FY04. Options for interim and shipboard spares and engineering services to support the production quantities are required as well as options for training, the technical data package and an extended warranty.
