services prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as
supplemented with additional information included in the notice. A
written solicitation will be issued upon request. This is a request for
quotation (RFQ) number DTCG80-98-Q-3FC8A1. This solicitation document
will incorporate provisions and clauses that are in effect through
Federal Acquisition Circular 97-04. The standard industrial
classification code is 3731 and the size standard is 1000 employees.
The requirement is for the following: Contractor to provide all labor,
materials, equipment, services, and competence to complete the
following two work items on the USCGC WHITE PINE (WLM-547): 1. inspect,
overhauls and test buoy handling equipment and 2. test pad eyes and
links. All work shall be performed at South Broad Street, Mobile AL.
Performance period is 06 July to 31 July 1998. Specifications to be
provided on request. The government will award a contract resulting
from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer
conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the
government, price and other factors considered. The following factors
shall be used to evaluate offer: Price, Required Delivery Date. The

transportation-related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT
Short-Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide
