Contractor to provide for a series of catwalks around the existing cooling towers on the roof of Building 32. Contractor shall be responsible for developing and providing shop drawings for all catwalks to be provided as detailed on the provided drawing and complying with all specifications. Contractor shall provide safety handrails along the outside edge for the entire length of the catwalk system. Work shall include providing and installing 2 sets of stairs for access to the new 60" deck height catwalks. Contractor shall provide catwalks for approximately 140' of length at 3' width with 4 step transitions for height differences between the approximate 60" deck height sections and the approximate 92" deck height sections. The Government estimate is between $25,000 and $100,000. The SIC is 1791 Structural Steel Erection. Construction completion is 60 calendar days from the date of the Notice to Proceed.
