All proposals must be received in hard copy and are subject to the FAR clause 52.215-1, Instructions to Offerors Competitive Acquisition (Oct 1997). Note: All offerors will be ineligible for award unless they have registered in DoD's Central Conractor Registration database in accordance with DFARS 252.204-7004. The Indian Head Division, Naval Surface Warfare Center has a requirement for MK 22 Nozzles. The base requirement is for a quantity of 8236 manufactured in accordance with Drawing 525-174-0132, Rev. G. In addition, six (6) options for additional quantities are anticipated as follows: Option I -- qty 2400, Option II -- qty 360-500, Option III -- qty 684, Option IV -- qty 500-2088, Option V -- qty 500, and Option VI -- qty 588. Estimated award date is 31 Oct 98. Contractor must be capable of delivering nozzles at a monthly rate of 1000. It is anticipated that contract must start hardware delivery by 31 Aug 1999. The procurement is set aside 100% for small businesses. The SIC code is 3764 with a size standard of 1000 employees. The contract shall be awarded based on a best value source selection process considering such factors as Offeror Acceptability, Offeror Capability (experience, past performance, facilities and equipment) and price.
