POC Kristal A. Taylor, Contract Officer @ 703-305-8017. PTO requires transportation services to provide wireless data communications services to a wide variety of companies and industries. The network provides a central hub that allows multiple radio equipped hand-held computers to send and receive messages back through PTO's dispatch system. The network connects all of PTO's field technicians with the centralized dispatch system. The dispatch function is in turn tied through PTO's Help Desk Expert Advisor system. The network services allows the hand-held computers to communicate to the companies host network computers. PTO has purchased several of the computers with the radio build into the unit. This requirement will be negotiated using simplified acquisition procedures through the receipt of a written quotation.
